We offer a 15-day return or exchange window from the date you receive your order. To be eligible, the item must be in its original, unused, and resalable condition, with all original tags, packaging, and accessories included.
Our process is designed for Technical Anglers, Combo Seekers, and Slow-Pitch Specialists who value clarity and efficiency—no hidden snags, just a smooth retrieval.
The Detailed Process: Step-by-Step
Step 1: Initiate Your Request
Within 15 days of delivery, contact our customer service team to initiate a return or exchange. Precision is key—please have your order number and details ready.

Step 2: Provide Required Information
Use the template below to ensure we have all necessary details to process your request quickly. Our team is “as responsive as the drag on our reels” and will typically respond within 24-48 hours with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
Step 3: Package and Ship
Once you receive your RMA number and shipping instructions:
- Securely package the item(s) in their original box or a suitable substitute. Include all parts, manuals, and free gifts (like Stickers) that came with the order.
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the package to our warehouse address provided in the instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Step 4: Inspection & Processing
Upon receipt at our Milwaukee warehouse, our team will inspect the returned item(s) with the precision of a technician checking a reel’s drag washers. Processing typically takes 3-5 business days after the package is received.
Refunds: Timing & Method
Once your return is approved:
- Timing: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days of approval. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your financial institution but is typically 3-10 additional business days.
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during purchase. This includes Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Store credit or gift card options are available upon request.
- Original shipping charges (for Standard or Free Shipping) are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on an order over $50, the standard shipping cost may be deducted from your refund if the return brings the order total below the free shipping threshold.
Exchanges
For exchanges (e.g., swapping a rod for a different model, changing apparel size):
- Follow the same initiation process using the template above.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will ship the replacement item to your original shipping address using our standard shipping method.
- If the exchange item is of higher value, you will be invoiced for the difference plus any applicable shipping. If it is of lower value, you will be refunded the difference.
- Exchange shipping times follow our standard rates: Standard (DHL/FedEx): 10-15 days, Free (EMS): 15-25 days after the new item ships.
Important Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
To maintain the integrity and safety of our specialized gear, certain items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged. Based on our product categories and the technical nature of our offerings, the following are FINAL SALE:
Non-Returnable Items:
- Parts Kits & Reel Parts: These are precision components (e.g., drag washers, gears, screws) specific to reel maintenance and repair. Due to their technical nature and hygiene considerations, they cannot be returned once the package is opened.
- Drinkwear: For health and safety reasons, all drinkware (bottles, tumblers) is final sale unless defective.
- Custom or Personalized Items: Any gear that has been customized or personalized at your request.
- Used, Damaged, or Incomplete Items: Products not in original, resalable condition, missing tags, original packaging, or accessories (including free Stickers).
- Clearance or Special Purchase Items: These will be explicitly marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.
Defective or Damaged Items: If your Reel, Rod, Combo, ATD Combo, Valiant 2 Combo, or any other gear arrives damaged or is defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos/video of the issue. We will arrange a prepaid return label and expedite a replacement or refund—no questions asked. Our commitment to reliability extends to every transaction.
International Returns (Outside USA)
As a global shop shipping worldwide (except Asia and certain remote regions), we accept international returns. However:
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes.
- Refunds will be issued in USD to your original payment method. Your financial institution will determine the final amount in your local currency.
- Please ensure you comply with your country’s customs regulations for returning goods. Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional duties.
