Ten Things Needed For Fishing
When fishing, there are some things that you cannot do fishing without. Here is a list of the things that you need to go out and have a hassle-free fishing.
1. Fishing Rod
Of course, every fisherman needs one in order to catch fish. It is the basic tool needed for catching fish. Choosing a fishing rod depends on what kind of fish you are going to catch and where you are going to catch it. You can always use a lighter rod if the fish that you are going to catch are the smaller ones and always use a heavy duty fishing rod for catching large fishes especially at sea.
2. Net
This is used to hold the fish after it has been fished out of the water. A net can be used so that you don't have to hold the fish with your bare hands.
3. Bucket
The bucket will be needed for storage. This is where the fish that was caught goes afterwards. This is used if the fisherman will be catching not only one but plenty of fishes. This is the next stop for the caught fish after being put in the net.
4. Fish Bait
Every fisherman needs one in order to catch fish. It could be the artificial types of baits or the live ones (i.e. earthworms, etc.). Both artificial and live baits depend on what fish is your target to catch. When catching big fishes, you could always use smaller artificial baits or smaller fishes that can be targeted by the bigger fish.
5. Long Nose Pliers
This is used to remove the hook from the fish that was caught instead of using your bare hands as some fishes have sharp gills and sharp scales which could cut through the skin.
6. Extra Fishing Line
This is used for emergency purposes. Just in case the line gets cut or breaks there will always be another set of fishing line ready to be used by the fisherman.
7. Knife
Another tool used for removing the hook from the caught fish and also to cut the line whenever there is an emergency or if the line gets caught.
8. Pair of Gloves
Needed for protecting the hands while holding the fishing rod and also to help lessen the difficulty of holding the caught fish as fishes tend to be slippery.
9. Pair of Boots
Not necessarily a tool but is definitely needed if ever you need to go to the water to catch the fish or to look for places with fish especially when hunting for freshwater fish in rivers or in lakes.
10. Chair
Let's face it; fishing can take a lot of time off your schedule. Fishing can take as long as 30 minutes to an hour or more to end. The chair's purpose is for you to just sit back and relax while waiting for a fish to bite your bait and get caught on to the hook of your fishing rod.
